In our previous post about the fundamental importance of rhyme in early literacy development, I talked about how picture books with strong rhyming text are absolutely.

Seuss's books are known for their silly words and wonderful rhymes, and this abridged version of Fox in Socks is a wonderful introduction to the classic author.

Interestingly, all the rhymes in the book rhyme with bear – so this book won’t teach a lot of variety when it comes to rhyming.
